October’s fall trip to Big Pine Key was one to remember. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who made the trip down and spent time on the water—it’s always the people that make these trips special.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous, with clear skies, comfortable temperatures, and light winds that made long days on the flats easy. We connected with a ton of juvenile tarpon, found bonefish cruising shallow water, and even managed to put together a grand slam.

As productive as the fishing was, this fishery has a way of keeping you grounded. Missed shots, selective fish, and changing conditions are all part of the Keys experience, and they make every success feel earned.

Thanks again to everyone who shared the skiff, the laughs, and the early mornings. Looking forward to the next one.
